Marysia’s Band was created because of the need for a band playing Polish music to mainly Polish audience living in Brighton.
It was created by Marysia Nowinska who met other musicians in Chichester College of Jazz Music in 2007-08. At the beginning the band consisted of vocal, bass guitar and piano. The rest of the band joined in later.
We played our first gig at The Brunswick Pub in March 2009.
